CPD Providers
CALL Scotland who provide the training are registered providers of CPD (CPDfind) for all staff working within Curriculum for Excellence or with pupils with Additional Support Needs.
Courses pay due attention to recent legislation on Additional Support for Learning and Accessibility.
Training courses at our centre
Courses take place at the CALL Scotland training centre within the University of Edinburgh.
All courses held at CALL are open to all professionals working with people with additional support needs as well as parents and family members.
Free awareness-raising sessions
For practitioners and policy-makers in your local authority. These sessions are to help your local authority plan and develop provision of materials in accessible formats.
The sessions are funded through CALL Scotland's grant from the Scottish Government, so there is no cost to your authority or school.
In service training
CALL Scotland also offers outreach in service training in your school or local authority. One-day, half-day and twilight courses in your school or local authority, where staff will learn how to source, use and make curriculum resources in accessible formats.
CALL Scotland can provide laptops or will use the school/authority equipment.
